Join the Glenn Amateur Radio Society on January 11th, 2025 for a digital modes workshop. This event is open to ALL North State amateur radio operators. We’ll be meeting at 10A at St Paul’s Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall on 565 Main Street in Artois.
The workshop will focus on connecting radio equipment to a computer to make use of modes like JS8 Call, FT8, FT4, Winlink, and much more. Lunch will be served with soft drinks, water, and coffee.
We plan to have plenty of equipment on display so bring your field gear and laptop and we’ll help you get setup. The event will also be a great opportunity to renew your license **.
** Make sure to bring your FRN number and password if you wish to do so.
The event will include:
– Steve (KN6MGK) will demonstrate JS8 Call.
– Mike (KF6OBI) will demonstrate and explain the in’s and out’s of WINLINK and VHF packet operations.
– Jeremie (W6LND) will help with WSJT-X, computer aided CW, and RTTY using Ham Radio Deluxe.
