This workshop will focus on getting your radio connected to a computer to begin using JS8 Call, WSJT-X's software (FT8, FT4, etc) as well as Winlink
If you need help renewing a license, this is a great opportunity to do so. Bring your FRN number and password.
We plan to have live demonstration of using the above protocols and also a demonstration of different rig control suites FLDIGI and Ham Radio Deluxe. Bring your radio and Laptop and we will help install and configure software and radio.
- Steve (KN6MGK) will demonstrate JS8 Call
- Mike (KF6OBI) will demonstrate and explain the in's and out's of WINLINK and VHF and packet operations.
- Jeremie (W6LND) will help with WSJT-X. and computer aided CW, and RTTY using Ham Radio Deluxe.
Make sure to bring your field rig too so you can put it on display. We'll also have a Starlink on display and for Internet access.
Lunch will be served with soft drinks, water, and coffee.
