Club Vote

Since the inception of the GARS website, the web space (server) has been donated by a member of the local community. While GARS appreciates the generosity over the years, we've outgrown the storage limits on the shared server and it will no longer accommodate the growth of the website. In short, the GARS website is the front door and the first (and possibly only) impression an outsider has of our club.

The GARS Board discussed the long term vision of the website and it was unanimously voted that we wished to continue to the growth of the website as its really starting to get noticed.

The following proposal is up for vote:

Summary:
The GARS board would like to move garshamradio.org to a new web hosting provider. The new provider offers unlimited storage and is used by many clubs around the area. This will remove all size limit restrictions presently on the website.

Cost:
The migration will add $72 a year ($6 a month) to the clubs operational budget.
