GARS is a community of amateur radio, electronics, and science enthusiasts living in Glenn County (and beyond), Northern California. Founded in 2010, GARS is an active organization, holding activities throughout the year. Come, grow with us.
GARS meetings are held at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Fellowship Hall, 565 Main St. Artois, CA. (Google Maps) every second Friday of the month at 1830 (6:30PM) PT. We would be honored to have you as a guest.
Whether you have a new radio, an old radio, or no radio at all, you are welcome to join us! Even if you don’t have a license we will support you and guide you in obtaining a license, if you so choose. You do not have to have, or need, an amateur radio license to be a member of GARS. There are many ways one can serve GARS, and in turn their local community. If you would like to become a member please fill out our online membership form or email us for more information.
