The next GARS POTA Event will Be April 27, 2024 At The Colusa -Sacramento River State Recreation Area In Colusa CA.
We are planning to BBQ Burgers and possibly some Sausages as well as activate this park it should be a really good time for the group and any guests that wish to attend we welcome all amateurs and the general public to attend the purpose of POTA is twofold. First is to get amateur radio operators outside operating in less than ideal conditions as well as to bring public attention to amateur radio and the many different aspects of the amateur radio hobby and to also bring awareness to amateur radio operators of parks they may not be aware of.
We plan to start at 11 AM and we may take a little longer this day due to having lunch added to the event.
The group would like an approximate head count of attendees for lunch.
